My quick and dirty review of Blaze AI - Social Media Content Creation and Scheduling Tool

I had a wild notion to check out Blaze Ai, a new Social Media Content Creation and Scheduling Tool that one of my friends recently told me about. I took an hour or so on a lazy Friday to give it a try.

FYI - you can try it yourself for 7 days free here! Don’t take my word for it. Test it for yourself.

Blaze AI, review - part one!

Overall I think it’s an awesome idea that could be super duper helpful to solopreneurs! I just think the formatting needs a little work.

For example, it was totally cool that it scrubbed my website and created a Brand Kit for me - however, it had my brand colors all wrong. It picked up a bright red and lots of shades of gray, which is not at all what my brand kit actualy is. It’s actually super colorful.

It also didn’t catch my fonts, which is literally one simple, consistent font (Playfair). I had to go in and manually adjust all of the brand settings it was supposed to automate.

Blaze AI Review - part 2!

Next I tried to create a post for a reiki promotion I’m working on. It was supposed to use AI to find my brand voice, which it described correctly, but when put to the test it didn’t sound very much like me or my brand (I have a very dialed in system I created and use with Gemini AI for this, anyway.) Still, the caption was useable, just not amazing.

The graphic templates were great but again, it had a bit of trouble implementing my brand fonts and colors, even after I had updated the brand kit. I had to manually add in my personal branding elements which took some time.

Cross Posting

I tried reworking the reiki image to fit a Facebook post and a TikTok. The Facebook post wasn’t bad. The TT was more effort than I wanted to put in so I skipped it.

Scheduling

Last was scheduling, and I will say that Blaze made scheduling super simple, especially across platforms. I could easily schedule for IG, FB and TT simultaneously with a nice calendar view.

Bottom Line

It could be a super cool tool but it needs some improvements IMO. Plus for $34/month and up, that’s pretty hefty for a solopreneur when most of us already pay for Gemini Ai and Canva Pro too. Who knows, maybe this will grow and become the best thing ever.
