You are always prepared. Others probably rely on you in unexpected situations, because you are always three steps ahead. Unfortunately this can sometimes lead you to feelings of anxiety, hopelessness and indecision.
Your best opportunity for harnessing more authentic fulfillment is to get out of your mind and into your body. Practice using your biggest trust muscle- your intuition.
With a little self-awareness and compassion you can heal your ailment and step into more authenticity, creativity and intuition in your daily life.

The #1 way this ailment sabotages your authentic sparkle is by….
Keeping you away from your purpose and calling by distracting you with all the potential things that could go wrong. You may even fear that if you decide to go after what you want, you’ll end up on the street and homeless! (I’ve heard many Overthinking Ulcer clients mention this one.) This is a shame because you have a truly unique gift that only you can share with the world. We need your light.
Chronically living with this ailment can cause:
Just like any physical, medical ailment, when we leave things unchecked for too long, they can wreak havoc on our system. I am not a professional medical doctor, and this is not professional medical advice (always seek your health care professional), but modern science proves that the mind, body and spirit are all connected. That means ignoring your truth (your authenticity) for long periods of time can actually cause you physical harm.
Put bluntly: your overthinking tendencies are hurting you – mentally, emotionally and physically.
If left unchecked, this ailment may cause any or all of the following:
Procrastination
Discontentment
Anxiety
Depression
Dis-ease
Illness
Sleeplessness
Digestion issues
I know that was dark, but we had to go there. I'm no longer sitting by and letting people believe that their hopes and dreams don’t affect their physical health and reality. If you want to manifest your dream life, you have to first become aware of what’s keeping you from it.
Perhaps now you can start to see how healing this ailment could literally change your life; allowing you to live your fullest, most authentic life.

..starting projects you crave without feeling endlessly stuck in “what-if” scenarios.
…learning to trust uncertainty as part of the journey to fulfilling your destiny.
…finally feeling confident enough to go after that wild dream of yours, without wondering what could go wrong!
If this is something you’d like to experience more of, here is a simple art healing exercise you can try out:
Spend 2-5 minutes focusing on your breath. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. When you inhale, push your belly out as far as you can. When you exhale, let your mouth fall open and let out an audible sigh. Do this 10-15 times.
Now, move to the floor and sit on your knees. Place your hands on the ground in front of you in a “table-top” position. Now, continue breathing deeply as before, but this time add intuitive movement. Try moving your shoulders in a circle. Then your hips. Then try moving both your shoulders and your hips at the same time, maybe in opposite directions. Keep breathing and feeling into this. Do what intuitively feels best for you. Do this as long as you please.
Now grab a paper and a large colored marker. Slowly drag the marker up and down and across and around the page. Practice mindfulness as you do so. What does it feel like to make random marks? Do you enjoy the sound? The smell? Let go of wondering what you are making and let this simply be a sensory experience.
